Driver Hire is one of six finalists in major franchising award
For the thirteenth time in fourteen years, Driver Hire is a finalist in the annual British Franchising Association (bfa) HSBC ‘Franchisor of the Year’ awards.
Over the past decade and more, the leading recruitment franchise has been an award winner on five occasions. It has high hopes of topping the list in 2019 as it heads towards another excellent trading year. This year its finalist competitors include Minster Cleaning Services, Window to the Womb, Oscar Pet Foods, Speedy Freight and InXpress.
The annual bfa HSBC ‘Franchisor of the Year’ award highlights the UK’s most exceptional franchisors that go above and beyond in helping their network, to ensure the model is working well for franchisor, franchisee, and all associated staff.
Commenting on the nomination, a delighted Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director said:
“This award recognises consistency and excellence in franchising. We’ve won an award in this category five times now and made it to the finals in thirteen out of the last fourteen years. I think this speaks volumes about the company’s values and continued commitment to the franchise industry, as well as the overall quality and value of our business model. We’re honoured to be a finalist and look forward to the awards night in June.”
Before then, in March, Graham and fellow Driver Hire directors will present their case to an expert panel of judges.
Congratulating Driver Hire, Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchising Association (bfa):
“Driver Hire consistently presents excellent performance within the network to the bfa as part of the awards process, hence the company once again is up for Franchisor of the Year.”
Andrew Brattesani, Head of Franchising, HSBC, said:
“Driver Hire helps get thousands of people into employment every year, and its ethical franchise model and overall business approach has been rewarded by their nomination for Franchisor of the Year. It was nominated for the same award last year, showing its commitment to continued excellence within the industry.
“Along with the other nominated companies, I wish them the best of luck in their attempt to win the coveted Franchisor of the Year accolade.”
The winners will be announced at the bfa HSBC Franchise awards night on the 27th June which is being held at the Vox in Birmingham.
