Driver Hire celebrates further franchise success
Driver Hire has further proof that it is one of the UK’s top franchise businesses, collecting bronze in the ‘Franchisor of the Year’ category at the 2018 bfa HSBC Franchise Awards.
This was the 12th time in the last 13 years that Driver Hire has been a finalist, and now a five times award winner.
Olympic and world track cycling champion, Sir Chris Hoy, presented the awards which took place at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre. Driver Hire shared the podium with McDonald’s Restaurants and Agency Express, a leading ‘For Sale’ board company.
Our nationwide network of over 100 offices supplies temporary and permanent staff to any business or organisation that operates commercial vehicles. As well as supplying staff, other services include driver training and driver risk management systems. Our offices cover the whole of the UK, from Inverness to Cornwall.
“Widely respected, these awards recognise both franchisors and franchisees who have demonstrated outstanding business acumen, innovation and achievement,” says Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director. “For over 30 years we’ve been helping our franchisees to achieve great business success and excellent financial rewards, our average turnover for a single franchised unit in 2017/18 was over £1.1m with 15% of our offices exceeding the £2m mark. We realise that we work in a highly competitive market, and to be recognised as one of the best franchisors out there is a huge achievement. It will certainly help us recruit more franchisees and take the business to even greater heights.”
