Underwood opens in Walsall
Driver Hire, has added Walsall to its nationwide network of franchised recruitment offices. The new office, which covers all WS postcodes, is doubly special because it helped take the Driver Hire franchise past the 100 mark for its UK office network.
Its owner is Adrian Underwood who will be working alongside his wife Kate. Before joining the Driver Hire network, Adrian was a project manager and has worked on major IT projects for Lloyds Bank and defence electronics experts EADS. “All the projects I worked on had a finite time scale. It was a little unsatisfying. So I started looking for my own long-term ‘project’,” says Adrian. “I also wanted to benefit directly from all the effort I put in. All of which led me towards self-employment – and franchising.”
“Over the past 30 years Driver Hire’s office network has built an excellent reputation for round the clock service and reliability,” says Adrian “We’ll continue that, sourcing and supplying the quality drivers customers need to make their business work; from chauffeurs to HGV, delivery van to fork lift. We can help with warehouse and logistics support staff too. I’m looking forward to assisting local businesses with all their recruitment needs.”
