2022 was an incredible year for Driver Hire and as we near the end of financial year 2022/23, Driver Hire are on track to achieve a second consecutive best ever network turnover.
Quick to adapt to the different business environment of the past few years – and the innovations that were required to respond to the pandemic – has put Driver Hire in a great place for the future. Technology and processes have been updated, but the core business remains just the same – to supply high quality temporary staff to logistics operators across the UK. And the true heart of the business is unchanged – the positive culture and our brilliant people.
Driver Hire has proven itself again to be a highly resilient business. As a franchisor, Driver Hire have delivered first class support and communication across the network. And the franchised offices have done the same with customers and candidates – proven with a best ever response to annual Proud surveys in December 2021, and by achieving the highest ever ‘customer service’ score (results from the 2022 surveys are just coming in and appear to be even better!)
Earlier in the year, colleagues and franchisees were able to get together once again to enjoy Driver Hire’s annual conference. The event kicked off FY 2022/23 and the network has gone from strength to strength ever since, with:
• record network turnover for 2021/22 (and currently 9% up 2022/23 year to date)
• 81 franchise record weeks achieved so far
• On average, over 300 new candidates (typically drivers) working each week
• Driver Hire being ranked #2 overall in the Elite Franchise Top 100 for 2023
• Driver Hire being crowned Franchisor of the Year Silver Winner for 2022
We regularly welcome new franchisees to the network. Our new ‘Class of 2022’ certainly joined the business at a unique moment, and are settling in well and confident of a successful future with Driver Hire.
