Gbola takes over in Bedford as new Franchisee
Gbola Laoshe has bought Driver Hire’s Bedford recruitment business.
Prior to buying his Driver Hire franchise, Gbola was a contractor working in IT, most recently for Lloyds Bank on a regulatory development programme.
He’s originally from Nigeria where he gained a Law degree. He ran the family’s transport business for several years before relocating back to the UK.
“I come from a family of entrepreneurs and have always liked the idea of running my own business. Of course franchising offers a less risky route into self-employment, says Gbola. “I came across Driver Hire whilst researching a number of other potential franchises.”
“They’re regular franchise industry award winners with a proven business model, great brand and an excellent reputation in the transport & logistics industry. As a franchisee, and having spoken to other Driver Hire franchisees, I know I will also benefit from an outstanding support structure.”
“I’m coming in with a real drive and motivation to develop great customer relationships. I’m really looking forward to growing the business here in Bedford,” Gbola continues. “Driver Hire offers clients a unique and hard to match combination – a local owner-operated business with the back-up and strength of an established national company. Success is all about treating customers so well they won’t want to go elsewhere.”
The UK’s largest specialist supplier with a nationwide network of franchised offices, Driver Hire provides temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to local and national organisations in both the public and private sector. If they’re short of staff – perhaps because of illness, holidays or seasonal demand – Driver Hire will supply them with a suitable replacement.
