Driver Hire franchisees in line for another award
Award-winning franchisees, Sue and Vance Parsons, owners of Driver Hire Hereford & Worcester could be in line for another trophy to add to their collection.
They’ve just been nominated for the ‘Growth Business’ Award at this year’s ‘Enterprising Worcestershire’ business awards. This annual event formally recognizes the hard work and dedication of local entrepreneurs.
The judges were certainly impressed with the Parsons. Since starting their business in what was effectively a start-up situation, they’ve enjoyed phenomenal success. After a record-breaking year in 2014/15, they’re on course for another record this year. Turnover has already reached £500,000, that’s 19% up on same time last year.
“Our vision is to grow the business organically,” says Vance “We’ve recently launched dh Recruitment, which supplies a much wider range of candidates including temp, temp-to-perm and permanent non-driving staff to industrial and commercial customers. We also aim to continue our outstanding record of success in our core business, by exploiting growing local demand for skilled goods vehicle drivers.”
