With the start of the new financial year the HMRC is now asking all recruiters and employment intermediaries to submit a new quarterly return – a detailed record of every non PAYE contractor or temporary candidate they place.
Whilst the first reports aren’t due until the 5th August 2015 the new regulations, according to trade press, seem to be causing some confusion within the recruitment industry.
Driver Hire franchisees who operate as recruiters throughout the UK don’t need to worry about the new legislation as the Driver Hire head office and franchisor is already putting plans in place to support the network in time for the submission deadline.
