Amanda DiSilvestro, content editor for online marketing company Higher Visibility, has offered her advice to ensure franchise services have an organised and well-run content team.
Businesses with more than one franchise will need a master document that contains all of the content on their websites, she says. The size of the business determines the amount of content that is potentially available. Having everything put into one document ensures it can all be accessed.
The document should then have the capability to narrow down content by each franchise, so the head branch can see how the franchises are using content in different ways.
Ms DiSilvestro says: “This is the best way to stay organised when you’re working with so many different pieces of content.
“Give your franchises access to the document so that it can continually be updated by all members of your team – after all, your franchise owners will know better than anyone what content their branch is putting out.”
Entrepreneur.com reported that successful content marketing also involves building a good community with the people you work with, as it creates the opportunity to expand contacts and gain more impact with the content being written.
